Our Journey
The journey began in May of 1999 at an eighth-grade prom in the Bronx, New York. What started as a night of celebration quickly became a life-changing moment. Watching the DJ command the room—feeling the energy of the music, the lights, and the crowd—sparked something that would grow into a lifelong passion. That night led to a conversation with DJ Carlos, who saw the enthusiasm and took a chance. With family support, the opportunity turned into hands-on experience working as a roadie, learning every aspect of the mobile DJ industry—setup, breakdown, sound, lighting, timing, and crowd control. Every event became a classroom. Through years of dedication, mentorship, and countless hours of practice, opportunities expanded to include work with multiple respected entertainment companies, refining both DJ and MC skills at a professional level. Weekend after weekend, sometimes multiple events in a single day, experience and confidence grew.
That foundation led to the creation of Beyond The Beat Entertainment—built on professionalism, reliability, and passion for the craft. With thousands of events performed, the same excitement felt on that first night still drives every performance today. The love for music, the connection with the crowd, and the joy of creating unforgettable moments continue to fuel everything we do.
